Kamala Harris - Road to the White House
Women, but particularly women of color, have fought tirelessly, courageously, and intently for their rights for hundreds of years. Having a woman of color as Vice President is an incredible testament to their efforts and has a profound impact on BIPOC women, girls, and people.
To help continue the fight to ensure equal voting rights for all Americans, especially the BIPOC community, I am donating $2 from every print sold to Fair Fight, founded by Stacey Abrams. Fair Fight "promotes fair elections in Georgia and around the country, encourage voter participation in elections, and educate voters about elections and their voting rights. Fair Fight brings awareness to the public on election reform, advocates for election reform at all levels, and engages in other voter education programs and communications." *The quote is slightly different from the version some people saw at the Head West Marketplace at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. I apologize for any disappointment. A dear friend kindly asked me to alter the phrase a bit to be more culturally appropriate.
I had a minimum quantity to start, but will stock more if there is a demand.
Size: 8” x 10” - easy-peasy to find a frame, versatile for most spaces, may even fit in a scrapbook when you don't want it on the wall anymore.
Orientation: Portrait - That's tall one, not the wide one
Paper Content: 100% Cotton Rag, acid free, lignin free (prevents discoloration and fading), and no optical brighteners - Tree-free AND the cotton typically comes from the textile industry.
Thickness/Weight: 250/285/290 gsm (depending what's in stock). What does that mean? The paper is thick and durable, and would probably jam your home printer. I either print at home or use a giclee printing company - hence the slight difference.
Ink: Pigment-based ink - holds up better in sunny spots and stays colorful longer!
Prints are eco-packaged using:
Flap-n-seal bag, the "plastic thing", is made from compostable plant material (not plastic).
Rigid direct mailer envelopes made from 90% post-consumer recycled materials, and they are certified recyclable and naturally biodegradable. Boom.
Zero-waste shipping labels - both the label AND backing (the thing you peel a fresh sticker off of) are recyclable. We don't always think about the label part when we recycle!
Prints are shipped via USPS, unless otherwise discussed. Shipping generally takes up to 7 business days, but can take longer - especially in COVID times. When you buy a print you help a small business AND the US Postal Service! BONUS!
