Print Details:
Sizes: 8” x 10” and 11" x 14" - please email me at kate@beanhorsecar.com if you need a different size. Other sizes will take additional time.
Paper Content:
Most are printed on 100% Cotton Rag, acid free, lignin free (prevents discoloration and fading), and no optical brighteners - Tree-free AND the cotton typically comes from the textile industry.
Other options may include 150# Cotton, 150# Bamboo, or 130# 100% Post Consumer Waste (Recycled) paper
Thickness/Weight: Cotton Rag: 250 gsm, 285 gsm or 290 gsm - What does that mean? The paper is thick and durable, and would probably jam your home printer. I either print at home or use a giclee printing company - hence the slight difference.
The other papers vary in thickness, but a sturdy. 130# - 150#
Ink:
Most are printed using pigment-based ink. This ink holds up better in sunny spots and stays colorful longer!
Some prints (on the non-cotton rag) are digitally printed using HP Electro Ink. Will fade over time if hung in a very sunny spot.
Prints are eco-packaged using:

Flap-n-seal bag, the "plastic thing", is made from compostable plant material (not plastic).

Rigid direct mailer envelopes made from 90% post-consumer recycled materials, and they are certified recyclable and naturally biodegradable. Boom.

Zero-waste shipping labels - both the label AND backing (the thing you peel a fresh sticker off of) are recyclable. We don't always think about the label part when we recycle!
Shipping
Prints are shipped via USPS, unless otherwise selected or discussed. Shipping generally takes up to 7 business days, but can take longer - especially in COVID times. When you buy a print you help a small business AND the US Postal Service! BONUS!
