Anchor Bay Campground - Anchor Bay, CA
Wake up to the sound of crashing waves. Unzip your tent and step out into a dense fog, make a cup of coffee on your camp stove, grab your pups and walk up and down a nearly deserted beach. By the afternoon the fog lifts and you're playing games and going for beach walks whenever you want. Your dogs have never been happier, frolicking in the sand. By evening the fog is starting to roll in again and the temperature drops. You bundle up for a sit around the campfire while the waves lull you to your bed. That's the beauty of the Anchor Bay Campground, especially if you can nab a sea wall site. The campground itself it's really anything to write home about, but has all of the amenities you really need. The private beach though is worth every penny. My family has been coming here every summer for decades now and it's my favorite time of year. Being with my favorite humans, my dogs, and the beach.
Size: 8” x 10” - easy-peasy to find a frame, versatile for most spaces, may even fit in a scrapbook when you don't want it on the wall anymore.
Orientation: Portrait - the tall one, not the wide one.
Paper Content: 100% Cotton Rag, acid free, lignin free (prevents discoloration and fading), and no optical brighteners - Tree-free AND the cotton typically comes from the textile industry.
Thickness/Weight: 250, 285, or 290 gsm - What does that mean? The paper is thick and durable, and would probably jam your home printer. I either print at home or use a giclee printing company - hence the slight difference.
Ink: Pigment-based ink - holds up better in sunny spots and stays colorful longer!
Prints are eco-packaged using:
Flap-n-seal bag, the "plastic thing", is made from compostable plant material (not plastic).
Rigid direct mailer envelopes made from 90% post-consumer recycled materials, and they are certified recyclable and naturally biodegradable. Boom.
Zero-waste shipping labels - both the label AND backing (the thing you peel a fresh sticker off of) are recyclable. We don't always think about the label part when we recycle!
Prints are typically shipped via USPS, unless otherwise indicated. Shipping generally takes up to 7 business days, but can take longer - especially in COVID times. You help a small business AND the US Postal Service! BONUS!
