Houseplant Series: Moonshine Sansevieria
Who doesn't want to wake up feeling extra rejuvenated? Having plants in your bedroom, pumping oxygen into the space, can improve your sleep and help you wake up feeling more refreshed. Another kind of "snake plant", the Moonshine version has broader leaves than its more common cousin. These plants release their oxygen at night, making them great plants for your bedroom. Even images of plants can improve your mood. I like the flow of the leaves with the flow of the design on the pot.
The houseplant series was so fun to create! I spent many hours searching for gorgeous pots to draw, and paired them with interesting plants. While I am getting better at keeping my own plants alive, the illustrated ones need a lot less water.
The perfect print for a plant lover - both green and black thumbs are welcome. Pair with another print in the series to make a gallery wall nursery.
Size: 8” x 10” - easy-peasy to find a frame, versatile for most spaces, may even fit in a scrapbook when you don't want it on the wall anymore.
Orientation: Portrait - the taller one, not wider.
Paper Content: 100% Cotton Rag, acid free, lignin free (prevents discoloration and fading), and no optical brighteners - Tree-free AND the cotton typically comes from the textile industry.
Thickness/Weight: 285 gsm or 290 gsm - What does that mean? The paper is thick and durable, and would probably jam your home printer. I either print at home or use a giclee printing company - hence the slight difference.
Ink: Pigment-based ink - holds up better in sunny spots and stays colorful longer!
Prints are eco-packaged using:
Flap-n-seal bag, the "plastic thing", is made from compostable plant material (not plastic).
Rigid direct mailer envelopes made from 90% post-consumer recycled materials, and they are certified recyclable and naturally biodegradable. Boom.
Zero-waste shipping labels - both the label AND backing (the thing you peel a fresh sticker off of) are recyclable. We don't always think about the label part when we recycle!
Prints are shipped via USPS, unless otherwise discussed. Shipping generally takes up to 7 business days, but can take longer - especially in COVID times. When you buy a print you help a small business AND the US Postal Service! BONUS!
